  • AIGA GVSU 2011 Pattern Show: Maps and Directions.
18x24" Poster. For our third annual pattern show, I decided to have some fun with some of the weird signs I've seen in my rural travels and the surprises that come along the way.
  • AIGA GVSU 2012 Pattern Show: Underwater. 14x21" Poster. For our fourth annual pattern show, I took the word "underwater" as the feeling of overwhelming that can drag us down, and reminding people they are not alone in this feeling.
  • AIGA GVSU 2012 Pattern Show: Underwater. 14x21" Poster. For our fourth annual pattern show, I was inspired by starfish and their intricacies. I recreated the starfish using only circles in this pattern.
  • "Day–to–day paths to Calder"
    18x24" Infographic map poster

I needed to show how to find the Calder Art Center (my second home) from my apartment. Maps often tend to discourage reading, so I wanted to make my map interactive and show how what happens along the way can affect our daily routine. So I present the four different routes I take and what I encounter on a daily basis, and how it affects my mood and how my mood affects my path.
  • Chicago Skyscraper
    10x15" Informational poster

To grab an audience’s attention, Chicago’s historical milestone about building the world’s first skyscraper needed a modern appeal to accompany the historical nature of the event. With the building cutout, image filter, and sans serif typeface accompanying the muted complimentary colors and linear grid composition, now the poster draws people in to read the information with both classic and modern design.
  • 20x30" Poster. Public service announcement poster about people using texting shortcuts so much, they forget how to spell actual words. I wanted to make it fun and bring to attention how often this happens and how ridiculous it can be.
